BASIC INFORMATION REGARDING PRAYERSSalāt ("prayer", Arabic: صلاة‎ ṣalāh)

According to Imam al-Tirmidhi, there are several hadith that mentions the prohibited places of prayer above as weak and there are also some authentic hadith narrated by Imam Muslim, such as a ban specifically for praying in a camel shelter.

 

The conclusion and views that were selected are the opinions that could combine the traditions from both groups. Therefore the laws that were selected are, the hadith that prohibits, bringing the law prohibited only (makruh) and does not lead to being illegal (haram) and traditions in the general form that calls the whole earth can be a place of prayer and these applies in all areas, except praying in unclean places.

Originally, the whole earth is sacred and without any clear sight of any stool, can be a place of prayer (salah), according to the judgment on the traditions (hadith) of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi which means:

"I was given five things which were not given to any prophet before me... (one of only five that)... and made ​​the earth and all of its land resemble as mosque and holy. So wherever I am, I will pray to him."

(History al-Bukhari and Muslim)

However, there are scholars who call a few places that are prohibited or are not encouraged to pray to him.
