Surah Ali-Imran verse 26

 

Say O Muhammad: "O Allah. Lord of Power (And Rule), Thou givest power to whom Thou pleasest, and Thou strippest off power from whom Thou pleasest: Thou enduest with honour whom Thou pleasest, and Thou bringest low whom Thou pleasest: In Thy hand is all good. Verily, over all things Thou hast power."

 

1. Surah Ali-Imran verse 26: All praises only belongs to Allah, the Lord of hosts; God is omniscient yet fair and all knowing, calling for mankind to execute justice and avoid injustice altogether. Peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w., his family and friends, may they acquire goodwill on the day of resurrection.

 

2. Alhamdulillah, we thank Allah s.w.t. for by His grace and by his permission that allows us to introduce Majlis Islam Bersatu (MIB) as part of Al-Khariah Mosque's organization. Majlis Islam Bersatu in Arabic is "Mejlis Al-Imarat Al-Islamiyah" (مجلس الإمارات الإسلامية), which means "United Islamic Coalescence". We are a group of young and energetic Muslims who are inspired in buliding a dynamic Islamic society that strives for excellence in Aqidah and Syariah.

 

3. The MIB pledge is an oath of allegiance of its members:

 

We, the members of MIB,

pledge ourselves as one United Islamic Coalescence,

regardless of race, language or tribes,

to build a dynamic society

based on Al-Quran and Sunnah

so as to achieve happiness, prosperity and

progress for our nation.

 

4. We would like to present the core objectives, mission and vision of Majlis Islam Bersatu (MIB) because at this point the unity from among the Filipino Muslims are challenged. Filipino Muslims' unity should be given a high priority, especially when the peace and serinity of Filipino Muslims' society is disintegrating in Mindanao because of those few who are going rampant for power and wealth of the world that is temporary and as a whole forgetting the hereafter.

 

5. It is the responsibility of us Muslims to make sure of the things that we mentioned earlier to be preserved over time and generations. Do not have any parties to dispute the Al Quran and its Hadith-Hadith. We Muslims should be united and not divided. Avoid polemics that can distance the understanding of each other. Ideological issues, trivial interpretation of all various opinions do not contribute to the unity of us Muslims. Discussion of polemic Islamic Nation, Secular Nation, Welfare Nation will result in people becoming increasingly blurred. Many are misguided. As a result of this confusion, it creates a scenario where we Muslims are increasingly isolated, apart and distant. The weakness of us Muslims are because of our weakness in Iman and Aqidah.
